Every single thing about this session makes my heart happy. The baby, the love the parents have for each other, and their DOG!

There are few things in life better than a new baby. Bringing your newborn home from the hospital is one of the best feelings. I am so glad that I was able to capture these precious moments of Alexa, her husband, and their brand new daughter just a few days after bringing her home from the hospital.

I had also captured Alexa’s sister’s new baby last year, and I was so excited when their family asked me back to capture another new baby.

Their adorable family lives in the cutest home here in Maitland in Central Florida. Their daughter’s nursery was decorated in a simple and modern woodland theme. The room had gorgeous light pouring in through the large picture windows in the baby’s nursery.

These windows made the perfect backdrop in front of which to capture their beautiful family. One of the most fun parts of this newborn photo session was the family’s awesome dog! She hopped up onto the bed when I was photographing the baby, and quickly became the star of the show.

This sweet new baby girl was such a dream to photograph.
