Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance
We were strangers. Except, we were bound in sisterhood before we even met each other in person. We’re part of a club that no woman should ever be a part of. In honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, which is on October 15th, we decided to honor our children. The ones we hold in our hearts instead of our arms. The children we never got to meet, and the ones we met but left the earth too soon. We honor them by acknowledging that they were real, they did exist, and they were very, very loved and wanted.
Some of us have had miscarriages, lost twins, had stillborn babies, or lost an infant child. We remember these beautiful children today, and everyday.
If you’ve ever lost a baby, we want you to know that you are not alone. 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss. You do not have to suffer and grieve in silence. You are part of a sisterhood, and we stand with you, and walk beside you to remember your baby, too. Your baby existed, your baby was loved, and your baby mattered.
In loving memory of: Max, Charlotte, Tristan, and those that were not named but oh so loved.
